I’d kill to have a real mantle to decorate. But until then, I love my foyer buffet-it’s a pretty good substitute! You’ve seen it decked out for Christmas, but now that the tree and decorations have been taken down, I decided to “winterize” the space.

Most of what I had on there already was pretty neutral, but I definitely needed to put my beloved burlap mini tree and golden reindeer away for the season. Aside from that, I didn’t change a whole heckuvalot.

The twig balls are from Goodwill believe it or not. At $1/ea, they were a total steal and destined for me. The lady in front of me in line apparently decided she didn’t want them and had left them at the counter. Fate I tell you!

I also scored that awesome snowflake-y mercury glass hurricane from Pier 1 for $7.98! It was 75% off because it was “holiday decor.”

Mine mine mine mine mine (think pelicans in Finding Nemo…)

I know the frames and candles are old at this point, but they work with so many other elements. It’s easy to just swap a few pieces out and crate a new look. That’s my story, and I’m sticking to it! Happy Winter!
