I’ve hired a painter for our upstairs stairwell since it requires a ladder (I know, I’m lame- but I did do the rest of my house by myself!)

The stairwell is the only place that my SW Totally Tan still lingers. You can see the lighter and brighter color of the future at the bottom of the stairs. That’s Burnished Clay by Behr. I LOVE it.

I already have some art in the stairwell, but I’m planning on moving some of it to the new guest room. I’d love to start over with a really eclectic collection, but let’s be honest, my history with gallery art has not been that um…impressive.

Yes those frames are still empty. So I obviously need to start here before I go nuts in the stairwell. I can’t help but drool with envy over these amazing gallery walls though.

I’ve been inspired, so now I’m going to fill the frames I have in hopes of getting to a stairwell gallery later!

Love the Behr color! Photo galleries are so much harder than they look! You really need a lot of frames and variety to get a good look, I liked yours, well except that they were empty. ha ha!

I have a photo gallery in my dining room. I absolutely love it – my brother mockingly calls it “the shrine” to my daughter.

LOL I think ours might be in danger of becoming a shrine to our dog!
