So here I am peeking my head in with some progress in the guest room. You may remember I bought paint a looooong time ago, and lo and behold- it made it on the wall! I popped in with a preview shot errr….let’s not say when.

So here’s the progress…

My cat Malcolm was being so cute that I decided to let him have his moment. I still have A LOT of work to do in here, including finding a new headboard (I’m looking for a metal one) and figuring out if I want to paint the frame on that picture or lose it altogether. I think I’ll have more clarity after I swap the headboards. I’d love to find an old brass one and ORB it!

BM Pale Oak guest roomI love how the room is so much brighter with the paint color change, it really made a huge difference! I’ll share the details on my zinc letters later on as I’m not sure if they will stay on this wall. Part of me thinks they are too small for the space. Hmmm. I’m trying it out for a bit, we’ll see :)

    I agree with the head board change. I think changing the picture is a good idea too. I like the letters in that spot. Malcolm is adorable. Love the color scheme…esp the purple!

    I actually love the painting, but a different frame may help? And I love the idea of a brass bed frame with some ORB happening on it. And I’m obsessed with the AVL.

    Whatever happened to that faux leather painted chair you were working on?!?! :-P
