Do you ever get tired of one project and start another? And another?

I have a dirty little secret…I leave things unfinished all the time. So,  here I am announcing it to the world in the hopes that I can finish up some of the projects I’ve started with gusto and have somehow fizzled out. I realize this will be a long list to get done this month, but at least I’ll have a master list to work off of for the rest of the year!

  1. Finish the trim on the stairs (yes, this is leftover from my brown paper stairs)
  2. Rip up the carpet in our bedroom and install brown paper flooring (last room!)
  3. Strip the porch floors and re-stain
  4. Complete curtains for dining room
  5. Install quarter round or caulk the baseboards upstairs (using this product)
  6. Paint Ryan’s room
  7. Paint my dresser (to match this one)
  8. Develop a game plan for pouring my own concrete counter tops (more on this later)
  9. DIY duvet cover for our bed
  10. Take outdoor photos of the house
  11. Install some sort of underdecking on the front porches to waterproof the lower half
  12. Paint and stain the back decks
  13. Complete 5 more slipcovers for dining room chairs
  14. Refinish the last 4 dining room chairs

Wow that list is longer than I thought it would be. GAH. What about you guys? Care to commit to finish a project with me?

Thanks for making me feel better! I do the exact same thing! Its like ADHD home remodeling. :) I now commit to finishing my daughter’s bedroom makeover that has been sitting stagnant since July (we’re talking down to the skim coat, carpets ripped out… yeah, does that make you feel better? LOL!). I promise to have it done by the end of the month. Hopefully. ;)
