So I accidentally discovered a super awesome meatloaf recipe using ingredients I had on hand, and several people have said it’s the best low fat meatloaf they’ve ever had!


  • 2 lbs ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 packets italian dressing mix/seasoning (like Good Seasonings)
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs (or 1/2 cup eggbeaters, what I used)

Mix all ingredients well, form in loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees uncovered for 60-75 minutes (I check it after an hour, sometimes it’s done).

    I just made something similar but with Stovetop Stuffing instead of the breadcrumbs and seasoning….and I put them in my muffin tins – so that each loaf was individual (they are perfect for busy week nights!)

    I will be trying this next week! Looks very good, my mom makes an Italian meatloaf with traditional red meat, italian sausage, and adds parmesan cheese to it, also very good. But for the healthier option, I’m trying this. :)

    I just made a very similar version the other night. I used meatloaf seasoning, egg beaters & and 2 slices of 30 cal wheat bread. My husband said we couldn’t call it meatloaf (he doesn’t believe turkey is meat), so it has become bird-loaf in my house.
