Hello Lovelies! I am so sorry I have been absent this week. I am working, I swear. Things are just moving more slowly than I’d like, but when I have some things to share, you bet I will! Have you finished up anything this week? Let’s take a look at last week’s features:

This rooftop bedroom at The Space Between is heavenly! I cannot believe how dreamy it is.

You know I love a good before and after, and this bookcase from Woven Home looks amazing!

I’m drooling over this type case thread organizer shared at Nifty Thrifty Things. I mean where do you find something like that?!

I was looking at your tutorial for the brown paper floor. How do you get the polyurethane so cheap? I looked into it and to cover a 300 sq. ft. room with 12 coats would be over $200. That makes it cheaper to put down a cheap wood laminate.

Lori- The poly I used was $40/gallon and I think for over 650 sq feet I used 3 gallons. I got it at Home Depot. The coats should be VERY thin. I’m sure at some point it is cheaper to put down another material, this method is great for large areas. Also with other flooring you need to consider the cost of accessories like underlayment or any tools you may need to rent. I don’t think I spent more than $200 for the 650 sq ft, which is MUCH cheaper than other hard surface flooring with the exception of maybe vinyl.
